Location: Western Germany

Documentation date: Summer of 2020

The building is located next to the Dutch border on a big property that is owned by a farmer. In the summer cows graze around it and often lie in the shadows of the building and adjacent maple, trying to evade the sun.

There appears to be no official information about this location, however the architecture and barred windows, combined with the relatively small distance to another former tram station suggests that it might once have been either the end of one of the oldest tram lines in Germany – or the beginning of a similarly old, disbanded tram line entering the Netherlands. If this is actually the case, the building was built in the early 20th century and abandoned in 1937.

The roof as well as the interior floors have rotten away a long time ago and the inside is completely overgrown, emitting an unique atmosphere.
